Once you have your dumpster rental scheduled, you should take a few minutes to review these materials.
Accepted materials: household junk, mattresses, appliances, lumber, yard waste, shrubs, tree branches, mixed household trash & clothing, construction debris, drywall, flooring materials & carpeting, knickknacks & wooden furniture, countertops, roof shingles, and more! A dumpster rental is also ideal for heavy material like dirt, gravel, rock, brick, or concrete disposal.
The list of items that cannot go in a dumpster is much smaller than those that can. Below are some of the most common prohibited items for dumpsters. Never put any of the items below in a dumpster:
Prohibited materials: electronics (TVs, computers), hot water heater tanks, propane tanks, car batteries, tires, flammable waste (like wet paint or chemicals), adhesives, food waste, refrigerators and air conditioners (because of the Freon), railroad ties & industrial drums, medical waste, any other hazardous materials & inks.
