At 9:47 p.m., long after the hardware store lights go dark, Sarah finally steps back from the basement stairs and surveys the mountain of demo debris. Tomorrow’s plan hinges on one thing: getting a roll off dumpster to her driveway on time. In the past, that meant waiting until morning, hoping someone picked up the phone, comparing prices, and playing calendar Tetris.

Now it’s different.

Trash Daddy Dumpsters just launched online ordering, so homeowners like Sarah, and contractors juggling five jobs at once, can book the right dumpster in just a few clicks, any time of day. No phone tag. No surprises. Just instant pricing, clear choices, and a delivery date that works for you.

Ordering a dumpster with Trash Daddy is now easier than ever. Simply start on our Order Online page, enter your ZIP code, and you’re on your way.

Why online ordering matters (to you and to us)

This is big news and we want everyone to know why! Check out some of the key reasons online ordering makes things easier than ever:

Fewer bottlenecks, faster projects

Time is money, whether you’re replacing a roof or clearing out a garage. With online ordering, you lock in size, pricing, and delivery on your schedule. That means you can keep momentum with no waiting for business hours, no bouncing between quotes, and no worrying whether you’ll secure your preferred drop-off day.

Instant clarity and upfront pricing

What size do you need? What’s included? How long can you keep it? Renting a dumpster can feel confusing the first time around with many questions. Our online checkout lays out the options clearly, and you’ll see transparent, location-specific pricing right away. For most areas, included rental periods are shown during checkout and typically run 7–14 days depending on local rules (some areas are 7 or 10 days).

Fewer mistakes, better outcomes

Placing an order online gives you space to add details like gate codes, where the driver should place the dumpster, or what materials you’re tossing so our team can deliver exactly what you need the first time. It reduces back-and-forth and helps prevent placement complications or overloads before they happen.

Always available

The project bug rarely bites between 9 and 5. Online ordering lets you book at 10 p.m. from the couch, 6 a.m. from the jobsite, or anytime in between while still backed by our local support team if you want to chat or call.

How to Rent a Dumpster Online (step-by-step)

1) Enter your ZIP code

Head to our Order Online page and plug in your ZIP. If your ZIP doesn’t appear automatically, it may just mean we need a quick manual review. Call us and we’ll double-check your service area right away.

2) Choose your dumpster size

Pick the capacity that matches your project. Common dumpster sizes include 10, 12, 15, 20, 30, and 40 yard roll off dumpsters. Not every size is available in every city, but those are the most typical options across our markets. If you’re on the fence, our dumpster size guide shows what each size holds and typical dimensions so you can visualize fit.

3) See pricing instantly

Once you’ve selected the size, you’ll see your flat-rate price for that city, based on size and material type. Exact rates are driven by local landfill fees and availability.

4) Pick delivery day (and tell us where to place it)

Choose your preferred delivery date from the calendar. Deliveries typically occur between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., and routes are set the morning of service. So while we can’t guarantee an exact time, we make sure it arrives within that window. Add any placement notes (for example: “right side of driveway, door facing the street”).

5) Review rental period & weight details

Your checkout will show the included rental period for your area and the weight allowance that comes with your flat rate. (All roll offs can physically hold a lot, but legal road limits determine how much can be hauled in one trip.)

6) Confirm materials & check prohibited items

Before you finalize, take a quick look at our prohibited items list. Things like wet paint, batteries, tires, propane tanks, and appliances with refrigerants are restricted by law and can’t go in any dumpster; we include alternatives for proper disposal on that page.

7) Enter contact info, pay, and you’re booked

That’s it! Your confirmation is on the way, our dispatch team gets the order, and your driver will handle the rest on delivery day.

How Online Ordering Helps Homeowners and Contractors Alike

  • No more phone tag. You shouldn’t have to pause your project to chase a quote. With the online checkout, you can compare sizes and lock in delivery in one sitting with the same straightforward pricing our phone team quotes.
  • Clear expectations. You’ll see the included rental period for your city (often 14 days in many areas) and understand options for longer rentals before you click “submit.”
  • Better fit, fewer surprises. Our sizes guide and FAQs explain what each container holds, typical driveway space requirements, and how to open a dumpster door so you’ll know exactly what to expect on delivery day.
  • Local rules, handled. Some cities require a temporary right-of-way permit to place a dumpster in the street. If that’s the case where you live, we’ll flag it during ordering and can typically help with the permit process

A Quick Refresher on Dumpster Sizes (and choosing the right one)

  • 10-12 yard: Small cleanouts, tight driveways, heavy materials like tile, roofing, or concrete (watch weight).
  • 15-20 yard: Whole-room remodels, medium cleanouts, light demo—our most commonly rented capacities for residential projects.
  • 30-40 yard: Major cleanouts, multi-room renovations, and construction jobs where volume matters.

If you’re not sure which way to go, start with the 20 yard (it’s the most widely used “do-it-all” size for home projects) and confirm availability in your city during checkout. Our team is always happy to sanity-check your choice in chat or over the phone.

What Stays the Same

Even with a frictionless online experience, the human part doesn’t go away. You still get:

  • Friendly help when you want it. Prefer to talk it through? Call or use live chat! Many customers even complete their orders right in chat.
  • Real-world delivery expertise. We place thousands of dumpsters safely every year and know the quirks of steep driveways, narrow alleys, and HOA rules.
Reliable pickup. When your project wraps, request pickup through your account or by phone and we’ll get it off your driveway quickly, usually with the same 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. operating window.
