What items are prohibited to throw in a roll off dumpster?

Almost anything can be tossed into a roll off. The following items are prohibited:
  • Electronics - TVs, computers, etc

  • Medical waste
  • Oil & gasoline
  • Contaminated soil
  • Asbestos

Do I have to be home for delivery or pickup?

No, as long as nothing is blocking the area where the container is to be placed. We get your placement instructions at the time of the order, so you do not have to wait for the driver if you don't want to.

How much does a dumpster rental cost in Colorado Springs?

We have a flat rate price for each dumpster size.  Prices range from $380-$550 in Colorado Springs.  We don't post the exact price because it can change often.  Call us or use our live chat to quickly check the current price.

Can I rent a dumpster for one or two days?

No, because we don't rent one day increments. In fact, we don't know anyone in the industry that does. However, you can KEEP a dumpster rental for only one day. There are always a number of days included in the rental term. At Trash Daddy the rental term depends on the city you are in, and it's either 7 or 14 days. You can have have the dumpster picked up at any time, even one day after it's dropped off, but it doesn't change the price.

Does the dumpster have a door on it?

Yes! All roll offs have a door that swings open on one end. All you do is lift a locking handle, and the door will swing outward. NOTE: when placing the container in driveways or up against structures, the drivers will always place them with the door toward the structure, as opposed to in the street. Keep this in mind if you want to use the door.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster rental in Colorado Springs?

Usually not, but maybe. Rules vary by city or county. It also depends on where you want the container placed.  Reach out to us and we can let you know.  If it is required, we will take care of the entire permit process for you.
